Parilac of the Planet Underground/Staking
University has graciously donated the use
of his building, (the old hospital's "Drake
Cottage"), as the home for FMSH.
Our
first meeting was held at the Drake on September
17, 2005. Movies, discussions, images, maps
and artifacts were shared as well as memories
of former employees. Food and beverages were
made availible via the Planet Underground
and FMSH.
Upcoming
volunteer opportunities were discused which
included:
Plans for the memorial project
Preservation of the old state hospital
cemetery
Future events and gatherings
